What is ELAM?
ELAM is a software system to which tools can be connected and which displays step-by-step work sequences at workstations and can switch on after an acknowledgement.
How can an acknowledgement be made in the ELAM system?
Acknowledgements can be made by the respective connected tools, by a camera, via a manual button or manually on the touch panel.
How are tools and devices connected?
Each external device ( tool ) is addressed and read out via a system controller. The requirements for the physical interfaces are fully met by our SWA devices.
Which company is behind the ELAM system?
ELAM was developed by ARMBRUSTER ENGINEERING back in 2002, is used thousands of times and is also sold internationally by Bossard AG. Both companies are owner-managed and have been stable on the market for decades.
Do I need any special prior knowledge to use ELAM?
ELAM 5 is self-explanatory and is fully supported by this help center.
Is personal data stored?
Depending on the settings, ELAM saves the user for each application without the name being visible. This is also secured by authorizations.
